Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026 · TechJegi LLC · Union County, Oregon, USA

This Privacy Policy explains how TechJegi LLC ("Cascade", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Cascade Wedding Platform and SoonlyWed marketplace (collectively, "Services"). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. For Google sign-in, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

1.2 Profile & Business Information. Wedding planners and vendors may provide business name, city, specialty, bio, portfolio images, and payment/banking details for Stripe Connect payouts.

1.3 Wedding & Guest Information. Couples using SoonlyWed may voluntarily provide partner names, wedding date, location, and budget range. Couples who use the Guest List and Planning features may also store guest information including guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, dietary restrictions, RSVP status, and table or group assignments. This information is stored solely to provide the guest management features and is not shared with third parties beyond our hosting infrastructure listed in Section 3.2. Guests whose information is entered into the platform have not independently agreed to these Terms; couples are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from their guests before entering their personal information.

1.4 Usage & Log Data. We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps to operate and improve the Services.

1.5 Communications. Messages sent through the platform (between couples and vendors/planners) are stored to provide the inbox and messaging features.

1.6 Payment Data. We do not store full credit card numbers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We receive and store transaction IDs, amounts, and subscription status from Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send transactional emails (invoice notifications, message alerts, booking confirmations)
  • Enable vendors and planners to be discovered by couples on SoonlyWed
  • Improve and personalise the platform experience
  • Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Send review request emails after weddings (with your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes on external platforms.

3. Sharing of Information

3.1 With Other Users. When a couple contacts a vendor or planner, their name and email are shared with that professional to facilitate the inquiry. Vendor and planner public profile information (name, city, bio, specialty) is visible to all users.

3.2 Service Providers. We share data with trusted third-party processors to operate our Services:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and Stripe Connect payouts
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Google — OAuth authentication
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Upstash — rate limiting (anonymised request metadata only)

3.3 Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

4. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (e.g. financial transaction records required by tax law).

Message logs may be retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction for dispute resolution purposes.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format
  • Opt-out: Opt out of non-transactional communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails
  • Do Not Sell: We do not sell personal data. California residents may submit a "Do Not Sell" request, which we will honour, though it has no practical effect given our practices

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@cascadeweddingplatform.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. These are required for the Services to function and cannot be disabled.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics cookies that track you across other websites. We use server-side request logs for basic analytics (page views, error rates) that do not identify individual users.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data
  • Service role key separation — admin operations never expose keys client-side
  • Content Security Policy (CSP) headers on all pages
  • Rate limiting on all public-facing API endpoints

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security against all threats.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

Your data is stored on servers operated by Supabase and Vercel, which may be located in the United States or other countries. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We ensure that all transfers comply with applicable data protection law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
